This program is focused on the weight loss by the normal food that we eat just be supplementing it with weight loss products and vitamins etc. this means that you eat regular food that you get in the supermarket and in addition to it take supplements to enhance weight loss. 

The typical quick weight loss diet plan provides for an approximate of 1000 to 1500 calories a day. The foods are carefully observed and are low in carbohydrates and fats and sodium. These are further governed by physical health conditions like obesity, age general heath conditions etc. 

Opinion:

The opinion is divide over the effectiveness of quick weight loss.  The experts are of the opinion that it is not healthy for the human body to lose so much weigh over such little duration but on the other hand, it is fast and effective. So if you need fast results this is ideal for you though t it may not be just as healthy.

Flaws:

Some of the biggest drawbacks of losing weight so quickly are :-

  • Doesn’t Encourage Physical Activity — the best way to lose weight is physical activity and that is a well established fact. This method though provides weight loss it might just not help in maintaining ideal weight because weight is maintained through exercise and this method does not encourage physical activity.  Thus the risk of diseases like stroke and heart problems is increased. 
  • Drastic Changes In Eating Patterns — the eating patterns are not sustainable. These eating patterns are not healthy and do not teach anything about permanent change in eating habits. 

Fad Diets Are Unhealthy — the fad diets that are a part of a lot of quick weight loss programs are not healthy and cause more harm than gain.
